Janine Grant Consulting Participates in GPDRR 2022

Janine Grant Consulting's Director for Partnership Development, Fakri Karim, recently participated in the 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Bali, Indonesia in his capacity as Advisor to the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).

He presented at the Local Leaders Forum session on 'Financing Local Resilience' where he spoke about the need for localisation of disaster and climate resilience programming to be supported by decentralised financing so that local governments and communities can take full ownership of their resilience initiatives.
